Lusheng Festival of Basha Village 2016

　　Basha is a small Miao(Hmong) village in Congjiang-a remote region of Guizhou. It’s about 6 and half km away from Congjiang county seat..The Miao in Basha spend many festivals annually with interesting traditional activities such as Lusheng playing, Dancing Lusheng, wearing traditional folk costumes including indigo dyed clothes with cross stitch, and Lusheng festival is in one of the most important festivals of Basha Miao village. With the newly opened high speed rail, Basha Miao village is now more easily accessible than ever before.
　

　　The Lusheng festival of Basha village is to cherish for bump harvest of rice, it’s also a festival to worship ancestors. This year, the Lusheng festival will be spent on Dec 17. During the festival, the local Miao men and women will put on new indigo dyed and embroidered dress to dance Lusheng and play Lusheng.
